  Attending an Intro is a requirement for all riders new to Chasers wishing to cycle with us, independent of level, to ensure everyone has an awareness of how to ride safely in a group. 

  It is mandatory if you want to join Saturday Group Rides.

  The Intro facilitates getting familiar with and practicing group riding techniques in a safe environment. It’s also a perfect opportunity to get to know other members and to ask more experienced riders any questions you may have.

   Some important information before you sign up:

  1. These sessions are for members only.

  
  

  2. No flat handlebars and no tri bikes/tri bars are permitted on any Chasers group ride for safety reasons.

  
  

  3. A general level of cycling fitness is expected - our group rides usually range from 60km - 110km with a decent level of elevation (between 500-1300m).

  
  

  4. If you're an experienced club rider with evidence of riding within a club setting, please contact sgrintro.chasers@gmail.com.

  
  

  5. If you cannot make the ride then PLEASE cancel AHEAD of the ride through your Chasers profile. We organise volunteers who give up their time to run these sessions which makes no-shows incredibly frustrating.

  
  

  6. Bring what you need to be self sufficient; the route, nutrition, spare inner tubes etc.
